In late May at the annual NCCSS retreat, president-elect David Schneider recognized and honored North Bellmore School District Superintendent Marie Testa for her year of service as president of the Council.

Former Plainedge Public School Superintendent Dr. Edward Salina and former Mineola Superintendent Dr. Michael Nagler were also recognized for their years of service and their commitment to the students of their districts.
